STRIPERS STRIPERS STRIPERS

FULL DAY STRIPER TRIPS to BLOCK ISLAND and MONTAUK in MAY, JUNE and JULY will offer SUPER ACTION.  “Twi-light” night trips for ’08 already planned, with live eels for bait into/after darkness.  Best night in ’07 produced 41 BASS in a 6 hour trip.  Loads of “keepers” with a good chance for a trophy fish ..... after dark fishing plugs and live eels or daytime during the FALL RUN...Columbus Day Oct. 11th through Nov. 2nd.   Last years Spring run started the middle of May in rips west of Block Island and at Montauk producing nearly 40 stripers per trip in June.  North rip offered great action into early October.  Boated just under 3,400 bass last year, with over 3,000 stripers T/R for the ALS, thanks to my clients, despite being offshore over 85 days chasing tuna, bonito, & sharks. BEST bass weighed 44 lbs., caught jigging (July).  My 40 plus years experience is producing action & catches others only dream about!

NORTH RIP TWILIGHT TRIPS

We enjoyed another tremendous response to last season’s Block Is. twilight night striper trips (6-10 PM), only on selected Moon Tides, late May thru July, up to 41 fish/trip, casting, trolling & on the fly.  Parties of 3-5 persons, rate $495.00.  Want some intense striper action without sacrificing a day at work, try this……

THAMES OVER-WINTER STRIPER CHARTERS

Join me for THAMES RIVER O-W STRIPERS in my 17 ft. Boston Whaler from late Oct. through April for 1 or 2 persons, 6 hrs., troll, spin or fly rod action, with 40-150 fish per trip the last 6 years. 41 trips to the river in ’07 produced action with 2,665 stripers (65 fish/trip aver.) the majority being school fish. 60-80 or more bass on the FLY in Dec./Jan./Feb. caught everyone’s attention last year, with trolled fish (Dec.) in the #28 lb. class. Super light tackle action to be had with a friend, son, daughter, or nephew, affordable rates ($295/day), so make plans now!
