NEW Affordable Rates for the 2011 Season
Last season Full & Half-Day STRIPER TRIPS to BLOCK ISLAND in from MAY thru OCTOBER offered SUPER ACTION. “Twi-light” PM trips for 2011 are already planned, with options for live bait into/after darkness. Best night in ’10 produced 51 BASS on a 6 hr. trip. Loads of “keepers” with a good chance for a trophy fish ..... after dark fishing plugs and/or live eels or daytime during the FALL RUN...Columbus Day Oct. 10th through Nov. 2nd. Last years Spring run started the middle of May in Block Island’s North Rip and SW Ledge producing upwards of 40 stripers per trip in June. North Rip offered great action into late October. Boated nearly 1,300 bass last year, with just over 1,004 stripers T/R for the ALS, thanks to my clients, despite being offshore many days chasing tuna, bonito, & sharks. BEST bass weighed @42 lbs., caught trolling (Aug.). My 40 plus years experience is producing action & catches others only dream about!

We enjoyed another tremendous response to last season’s Block Is. twilight PM striper trips (5-9 PM), favored on Moon Tides from late May thru July, up to 40 fish/trip, casting, trolling & on the fly. Parties of 3-5 persons, rate $395.00. Want some intense striper action without sacrificing a day at work, try this……
The ALS has already booked several MOON TIDE trips in June (2011) for member-tagging field trips, so consider making arrangements soon before all preferred moon-date tides are taken.

SUPER FALL STRIPER VENTURES
Recent fall fishing (1 or 2 clients) out of my Boston Whaler in mid-October to mid-November produced hundreds of striped bass along the Pt. Judith-Matunuck area, most of which were T/R, including fish up to 48” (46 lbs.) In the past, you could find us targeting stripers under the birds from Charlestown to Watch Hill, RI, or from the mouth of the Thames River to Harkness State Park, CT. Look for an article this season in The FISHERMAN about our fall striper success at Matunuck.
THAMES OVER-WINTER STRIPER CHARTERS
Come join me for THAMES RIVER O-W STRIPERS in my 17 ft. Boston Whaler from late Oct. through May, 1 or 2 persons, 6 hrs. troll, spin or fly rod action, with 40-150 fish per trip the last 9 years. 18 trips to the river in ’10 produced nearly 600 stripers (34 fish/trip aver.) the majority school fish. 40-70 or more bass on the FLY in Dec./Jan. caught everyone’s attention last year, with trolled fish (Dec.) up to #28 lbs.
