SHARKS SHARKS SHARKS

NEW Affordable Rates for the 2011 Season

SHARKING will get under way in early JUNE and build into JULY, with blue sharks first to show as waters warm, followed by makos, & threshers. Best trip last year saw 3 fish in the slick at once, several pushing 300 lbs., requiring #50 lb. class “stand-up” tackle. Last season one 12 ft. long thresher grey-hounded off 100 yds. of mono in under 15 seconds before bust’n clear of the ocean’s surface. A late season mako wore out 3 anglers performing 5 jumps before coming boatside. Looking for some exciting Tournament action, consider booking for the Star Island Shark Tourna. (June), Montauk Marine Basin Tourna. (June), and/or the Snug Harbor Shark Tourna.(July). Our SHARK-TUNA COMBO was again popular in mid-June thru July. Sept. & early Oct. found makos and bluedogs down to the east behind the dragger fleet along the 43700 line. Try it, it’ll be an action filled experience you won’t soon forget……

COX’S COD & STELLWAGEN COD-HADDOCK

NEW Affordable Rates for the 2011 Season

Late March through early-May 2011 will see the PROWLER fishing out of RAM POINT Marina for COX’S Ledge, DODGE Ground, the BRACKETTS, and/or other areas for CODFISH.  Due to the wintertime resurgence of this resource, along with increased numbers of vessels, COD trips depart Ram Pt. Marina at 4:00 AM.

***From April 15th thru May 8th the PROWLER will be fishing out of TAYLOR Marina/Brant Pt./Green Harbor, MA for STELLWAGEN COD & HADDOCK.  Call or e-mail me for availability, sailing time, rates, etc.***

If possible, be flexible with your booking date, so as not to miss a great weather day that could result in non-stop action. Fishing was “great” early in the spring last year with plenty of keeper-sized fish, both with jigs and bait.

RI Regs. allow a 22” cod,  and in the past we’ve done very well.  Better make plans NOW, as 2011 may be my last year doing this.  If you’re looking for some great fishing, join us for outstanding success....
